[Holiday Spotlight] A Neighborhood Lit Up For Christmas

Christmas lights glowing at night are always beautiful to look at, but when an entire neighborhood is lit up, it is a spectacular sight. The neighborhood is known for their  lights …

[Back to the Past] Red Car Museum, Seal Beach

On Electric Avenue near Main Street sits a Pacific Electric Railway Red Car. The Pacific Electric Railway system, also known as the Red Car system, once connected Southern California from 1901 to 1961. Once traveling through Los Angeles County, passing through Seal Beach, and ending at the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, the only memory of this part of Seal Beach’s past is the Red Car Historical Museum and the segment of tracks it rests on at the northwest portion of Electric Avenue Greenbelt.

Ice Blocking — Orange County’s Snow Sledding Substitute!
Alright, I can sometimes be mischievous, and I’m always random, and yes, having fun in a public park past midnight isn’t exactly allowed — usually. But if my way of having fun keeps us kids* out of gangs and away from drugs, then hey, we must not be all that bad!
