Goodbye, Borders

Times have changed. The days when we would go to the bookstore to purchase something are coming to an end for many reasons- the convenience of online retailers, the rise of e-books, the economy, management, and ourselves the customers. And so, goodbye, Borders.

Follow up: OC Largest Business Mixer 2009

Let’s be honest, networking is not our forté and intense sales people intimidate us-but that didn’t stop the VitaminOC staff from attending the OC Largest Business Mixer Wednesday night. Patrick, Justin and I went outside of our comfort zone to promote VitaminOC.com and meet the people from the OC business community.

In these tough economic times, it’s always amazing to see new leaders emerge and take control of the situations at hand. On February 28, I witnessed many of these future leaders take part in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Southern Section Leadership Conference.
