Bike to Work Week

Yes, I have it easy. I live less than two miles from work. In fact, I already bike to work on a somewhat regular basis. But this week is Bike to Work Week, meaning now is the time for YOU to take advantage of the beautiful Southern California weather and ride your bike to work.
While May 11-15 is Bike to Work Week, this Thursday, May 14, is the actual Bike to Work Day, so if you’re lazy, perhaps you can aim to bike for just that one day!

Get a “Taste of Anaheim”

On May 14th at the Anaheim Garden Walk, over 50+ restaurants from all over Anaheim and Orange County including the Rain Forest Cafe, Alcatraz Brewing Company, Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, and McCormick & Schmick’s will have samples for you to try and taste. You can think of it as a 50 course meal if you’d like.

Petition for Harvey Milk Day

Harvey Milk — you may have heard the name, you may have even seen the movie. But for millions of Californians and Americans, the name Harvey Milk is synonymous with equality. He was a pioneer fighting for gay rights, and was one of the first openly gay men to be elected into office. After being assassinated in 1978, he has become known as a “martyr for gay rights.”

OC Kogi BBQ Watch ’09

So, did you get your Kogi BBQ fix over the weekend? (see previous post: Nomalicious Kogi BBQ Finally in Orange County!)  It was a little harder than we thought since the Buena Park/Santa Fe Springs location was secret, then it wasn’t secret and etc.  But, OH WELL…Kogi is baaaaaack three times this week!!!
