John’s Incredible Pizza = The Pizza Planet??

Have you been to the Buena Park Mall lately?
If you are like me, you probably haven’t been there ever since it became a ‘tween infested hangout spot, haha.  But if you drive by there, I am sure you have seen the new John’s Incredible Pizza that just opened a few months ago.  It’s a little hard to avoid the bright colors and lights that come off the restaurant’s entrance. You can read a bunch of reviews about it on Yelp.com . I haven’t been there myself so I cant give you …

Tranquil Tea Lounge – Downtown Fullerton

Tranquil Tea Lounge is going to open in Downtown Fullerton this Friday! The vitaminOC team and I have been super excited and we can’t wait for it to open.
Tranquil Tea Lounge is owned by brother and sister, Jon Munsayac and Michellee Phelps. The lounge will be a cool place to try their selection of over 85 different varieties of loose leaf teas as well as a place to dine, buy tea accessories, attend special events, or hold your own there as well.
I was able to meet them a few times …

You can think of it as a 50 course meal if you’d like.
Entertainment during the night includes Eli James Mattson, from the third season of America’s Got Talent, the “Oreo Divas,” and LIGHTS, a Journey tribute band. I’m most excited to hear LIGHTS since I like listening …

Cantina Lounge — Free Taco Tuesdays!

“What’s the catch?” Ha! That was exactly my thought as I made my way out to Fullerton to check this place out. If you’re a student at Cal State Fullerton, or if you’ve driven down Nutwood or the 57 freeway recently, there’s no doubt you’ve seen the big white balloon claiming to have Free Tacos on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Yes, the Cantina Lounge seemed to be offering to students and commuters something that was too good to be true — free food … every week! Not possible. …

If you’re the typical college student, then you are probably out partying late and eating at Denny’s at 2 a.m. But if you are looking for a little more variety rather than the normal Sampler or Grand Slam Breakfast, you may want to check out this 24-hour restaurant at the corner of Main St. and PCH in Seal Beach.
Shore House Cafe — the sign says “outstanding food and spirits.” I can’t vouch for their spirits since I’ve never been there to drink, but their food menu is pretty extensive. There …

No one can deny the amount of great food Orange County has to offer. And though I can usually be found enjoying the popular greasy carne asada fries or sharing a massive traditional calzone — all which can be found in the OC — I also like to make the occasional venture into some of the “fine dining” restaurants, which are plentiful in Orange County, as well.
Throughout the week of February 22nd through the 28th, a number of restaurants will be participating in this year’s Orange County Restaurant Week. A …
