What is the Tour of OC?
Today, June 30, 2010, Long Boards Ice cream is launching a social location challenge called the Tour of OC using location sharing service Gowalla and 20 spots around Orange County. Last month I had the pleasure of tasting a TimTam, a chocolate covered malted biscuit originally from Australia, which is full of pure amazingness. The perfect crunch of biscuits, the way the chocolate slowly melts… I really want another pack now. Sorry to hype it up so much, I’m just such a big fan of them now!

The fatal crash of former Angels pitcher, Nick Adenheart and his friends Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson was not easy for me to take in. As an Angels fan and Cal State Fullerton Student, the crash struck too close to home.  It was difficult for me to see the images on TV and to drive by the crash site or Angels stadium.
