Petition for Harvey Milk Day

Harvey Milk — you may have heard the name, you may have even seen the movie. But for millions of Californians and Americans, the name Harvey Milk is synonymous with equality. He was a pioneer fighting for gay rights, and was one of the first openly gay men to be elected into office. After being assassinated in 1978, he has become known as a “martyr for gay rights.”

According to Equality California (EQCA), an organization fighting for equal rights, Governor Schwarzenegger vetoed a bill last year to declare May 22nd …

College Film & Music Festival

On Thursday April 30th The  Historic Fox Theater will be hosting the College Film & Music Festival in its  back parking lot! Live concerts and independent films will be shown . Admissions cost $10 for a night full of entertainment. Food vendors will be on site so that you can enjoy some food while you listen to music and watch the college films!  Films from CSUF students will be shown. Also, dont miss out on the opportunity of getting a free tour of the Fox Theater!
100% of proceeds will benefit the Fox Fullerton …

CSUF’s Best Dance Crew Kicks Off CSUF’s Comm Week 2009!

I’m a business major, so I’ve never really taken interest in any other departmental weeks on campus…but since your interests are Vitamin OCs interests, we’ve gotten the chance to open our eyes a little more to what’s going on!  Lots of hardwork are going into all of these great events and we’re going to help promote them more!  If you’re a non-CSUF student, we mostly post about FREE events that are almost always open to the public!  So feel free to join us anytime! :)

The Fullerton Market is Back!

Starting this Thursday, April 2nd, Downtown Fullerton will host its 18th Annual “Fullerton Market.”  This outdoor event holds a variety of vendors including local farmers, merchants, community organizations, and artists.
You’ll get the chance to buy fresh produce, pastries, arts and crafts, apparel, and some other yummy food.  And for your alcoholic-pleasure, they will have a beer and wine garden.  There will also be a Kid’s Korner full of special activities to keep them busy while the adults drink it up!
This weekly event takes place every Thursday from 4pm to 8:30pm …
