Wanna win some business cards?

4 September 2009 by Patrick Tomas 10 Comments

dr_logoHey everyone! Time for another cool contest from Digital Room – this time it’s for the most useful thing in the world! No, no… they’re BUSINESS CARDS! 500 to be exact! And to two people! Woohoo!

Anyways heres how this is going to work: comment on this post about how you would use these business cards if you won them. Be creative with your use or why you want them because it’ll increase your chances of winning! :)

If you win you can choose from any of digital rooms business card sizes. I’d go with the traditional 2×3.5 but if you choose a 2×2 thats fine too. You can also choose any coating and any color option. Great stuff huh? It would be cooler if you went ahead and ordered Die Cut Business Cards, you know those cool shaped ones with the curved corners? Yeah those ones. (If you do get those, you’ll have to buy them yourself!) Only thing you’ll have to pay for is shipping.

Remember… just comment and you might win! For example, if I won I would make some really cool business cards for vitaminOC since tons of people ask us for cards but we don’t have them yet. Or I’d make a personal card and use it as giveaway to do list because they easy to bring everywhere and easy to give away.

So you’ve heard mine… now let’s hear yours (before September 10, at 12pm… when this contest ends anyways)!!!

This would be so perfect right now because I would use them for the new business that I’m working on starting. I will be setting up at local events (markets, fairs, etc.) and hoping to book private parties from them for a artsy, creative, modern, edgy, hip traveling business (think make up artist but not) I don’t want to give it away but you can email me for specifics if you need to for the contest :)

So I had this idea a long time ago but for the fashion victims that roam the streets of OC I want business cards that say in large bold letters “Just No.” and on the back would be my contact information with the title Personal Stylist. I can help those in need look fabulous and better their wardrobe no matter the budget they shop in.

Being an officer for a student business organization at CSUF, it is important to have business cards. Cards are simple tools that are needed in a business environment to be effective in networking with peers and professionals. Since our organization is planning to partner up with local business to raise funds, it is important that we be able to easily give out our information, it also doesn’t hurt that it makes us look more professional. It has been very difficult exchanging information with important people, when there is no pen or paper around, thus having these cards will be a life saver.

After completing two years at a California community college, I will be transferring to a University of California in two weeks.

I really don’t know too many people at my new school. Maybe 10? 15? From PBL, of course. But what about the hundreds of strangers I’m going to meet? I’ll likely bump into dozens of new people everyday and struggle to remember each of them. What’re better than business cards? I can even include my on-campus apartment number — a little risky, yes, but convenient if anybody ever wants to visit me so we can go off to explore a new place. These business cards can help me establish a presence in the transfer community (and beyond) as I seek to do bigger things on campus and in life. Onward, to success!

Or I may give up on this idea entirely and attempt a goodwill effort. It’s a business card with a huge yellow face that says: “Smile! Somebody thinks you’re special. Pass this card on to make another person’s day!” I got a card with the same general message in high school — very fun!

As a 4th year student at UCI, I’m about to graduate and enter “the real world” as we call it. Networking with people and trying to find your niche in the world is the hardest part of becoming a full time worker in a career path that makes me happy and keeps me fed and sane.

With my business cards, I will be able to take advantage over the little details that make a person stand out. In this case, it would show my professionalism as having cards ready for employers to view me resume and consider me for their employment.

I’d like these cards also because it will allow me to better communicate with people on my current campus. From professors to TA’s to fellow students, life’s just easier when you need to get in touch with someone off a small card rather than a piece of straggly paper.

Consider me for these cards because I believe that it would really help me out in the not-too-distant era of graduation, life and personal success.
