Do you remember my first post about Titan Baseball a few months ago? (read here) I criticized that CSUF did not have enough spirit for Titan Baseball despite the history of the team, and their talent!  Weeeell, I take some of that back!

On Saturday the Vitamin OC crew, and I attended the Titan Baseball Rally in Downtown Fullerton. I was excited to see the spirit of the alumni, parents, community members, and some (very few) students out there.  Chanting ” Lets go Titans!!” we rallied up on all four corners of Commonwealth and Harbor to support our guys in Omaha.

Although I was still disappointed at the lack of CSUF students at the rally. (There were more alumni and community members that STUDENTS!! )  I realized that  instead of concentrating on who didn’t show up, I should make the best of it and have fun chanting for our team.  The spirit of the Titan Community was awesome! and it was great to see all of those supporters there!

After the rally in downtown Fullerton, everyone was pumped to see the Titans take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Razorbacks got on early lead on the Titans with 2 home runs and despite the attempt of the Titan rally in the 5th, 8th, AND 9th inning ,the Titans were defeated 10-6. :(

Fortunately, today the Titans have a second chance to advance in the College World Series. The Titans will face the Univ. of Virginia at 11am. This is the last chance we have to stay in the CWS. I am confident that the guys will do great!

For now, all we can do is keep the Titan Spirit high and hope for the best.

LETS GO TITANS!!  no matter what, you will make us proud!
