This Friday, from 4:30pm – 7pm is Oxford Academy’s 2nd Annual Band[aid] 2009, benefiting the Two Brothers Foundation, an amazing non-profit organization which organizes various educational and linguistic programs in the favela slums of Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil .  Every dollar raised will work towards a brighter future for children living in a community plagued by drug gang violence and instability.  This will help provide thousands of youth with the opportunity for an education and better lifestyle by creating a brighter future for the men, women, and children of the struggling community by funding resources, sustainable projects, and valuable training.

What an amazing organization and an amazing event!  Those darn Oxford Academy kids.  Always cookin’ up something fresh!  Not only does this event contribute to such a worthy cause, but it also seems to double as a great showing of Asian American talent for API Heritage Month!  Check out this list:
