5 years, 4 American League West titles – the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (or just the Angels lol) are opening their 2009 season TODAY with four games against the Oakland A’s and 2 games against our all time enemy -the Red Sox during the weekend!

Their new motto, ” Fan Strong.” really sums it up for us die-hard Angel fans that are coming into the new season thinking, ” here we go again, ANOTHER American League West Championship and no World Series wins” lol.

BUT, I am optimistic of this new season and of the new players. Everyone is looking forward to see what Vlad, Fuentes, Abreu, Hunter, Napoli (to name a few) will be bringing this year and I am sure they will not disappoint!
