cntr_marketStarting this Thursday, April 2nd, Downtown Fullerton will host its 18th Annual “Fullerton Market.”  This outdoor event holds a variety of vendors including local farmers, merchants, community organizations, and artists.

You’ll get the chance to buy fresh produce, pastries, arts and crafts, apparel, and some other yummy food.  And for your alcoholic-pleasure, they will have a beer and wine garden.  There will also be a Kid’s Korner full of special activities to keep them busy while the adults drink it up!

This weekly event takes place every Thursday from 4pm to 8:30pm until October 29th.  The market is located in Downtown Plaza on Wilshire Avenue (between Harbor Boulevard and Pomona Avenue).  Admission is free, and parking in any nearby lots is free as well!

If you arrive around 6:30pm, you’ll be able to enjoy live entertainment, which will feature a different band every week.  CLICK HERE for a complete list of the bands that will play.  The first band of the season will be Los Fabulocos of the “roots & blues” genre.

And if you’ve never visited the Fullerton Museum Center, you’ll receive a special admission price of $2 per person when you come in during market hours on the first Thursday of each month!

Want a booth at the Fullerton Market?  There’s still time!  The market is open to certified farmers, artists/crafters, Fullerton businesses, non-profit organizations, and food vendors.  You can get an application at the Fullerton Museum Center or at the information booth on market days.
